The opening ceremony of the “Little Hong Kong·Big Festival” miniature art exhibition was held yesterday. Artists have recreated its glory days, including bright lighting, “Welcome” neon signs, docks, large fish tanks, dragon chairs and banquets in the lobby, the kitchen at the back of the ship, and Zhou Xingchi and Gu Dezhao in “The God of Cookery”. will reproduce. It turns out that artists Cai Bilong and Ho Kwok-tim had conducted on-site inspections, photographed photos and obtained architectural drawings four years ago, recreating the collective memories of Hong Kong people through miniature art.

Another work, “Forgotten Time – 1930”, three-dimensionally presents the pre-war style of the last century. The creative inspiration was triggered by a photo in the 1930s. It reproduces the Chinese and Western advertising signs on the exterior walls of early Hong Kong buildings, wearing Tang suits and hats Pedestrians, mothers and sisters workers with big braids, shirtless rickshaw drivers, radio antennas with long poles on the roof, killers in the movie “Kung Fu”, Wing Chun Ip Man’s martial arts gym, wedding parades on the street, etc., can be repeated.
